2008 GCSE Results - Jumping for Joy!
With 45 A*s between them, and 2 early ASs at grade A, Eleanor Snell-Navarro, Madeleine Crean, Helena Gumley-Mason, Helen Souchon and Christina Cheriyan from St Augustine’s Priory really had something to celebrate this week. (Pictured here from left to right). Christina Cheryian, aged 16, said “The GCSEs were a lot of work, but the results were worth it! Hopefully next year will be just as rewarding; I can’t wait to get started!”

2008 A Level Results
As always our departing Upper Sixth are going on to study a wide range of subjects from Physics to Politics and from Medicine to Middle Eastern Studies. Maedee Burge Rogers (pictured here with Mrs Gumley-Mason) achieved 3 As and was accepted to Newnham College, Cambridge (the Headmistress' College) to read Veterinary Medicine. Jessica Ferguson (Head Girl 2007-08) also gained 3 As and will be going to Oxford to read English. Special mention must also be made of Sophie Cox, Katy Donovan, Ciara O'Connor, Marnie Richards and Micaela Barradas who all also achieved straight As.

'Calamity Jane' Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th & Thursday 10th April 2008 - at Questors Theatre was a great success, playing to over 700 people. Natasha Percival who played the title role had another reason to celebrate when she heard she had been chosen from 4,000 hopeful applicants to join the National Youth Theatre.

Charities Week 2008 - raised a staggering £7,004.64, and counting. The money raised will be divided between this year’s four charities; Ecologica Youth Trust, Get Kids Going!, Action in Africa & The Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
